TOUCHSCREEN SYSTEMS
There are two types of Touchscreen on the market. One is an till with a Touchscreen instead of a normal keyboard and the other is a PC "Open System". The PC "Open Systems" are more flexible as they work as PC programs, but the till versions are considerably less expensive.
Touchscreen systems are particularly easy to use as they lead the operators through a transaction and as a result considerably reduce training times. In addition, Touchscreen can help promote good customer service with service led instructions and can also help improve margins by encouraging staff to sell up certain products.

This a Touchscreen based on the Uniwell SX7000, however, it has considerably more memory than the UX7000 giving it many more features. The TX870 has also been given a Flash EPROM which will allow us to upgrade your system remotely at any time. The system is extremely flexible, enabling the TX870 to be perfect machine for most environments including pubs, restaurants, nightclubs and other leisure industry operators.
The TX870 has a high brightness display which can be viewed from various angles, it has a small footprint and has a tall customer display which can be front or back bar mounted. The system can be used with a variety of peripherals including different types of printer, scanners and magnetic card readers- see Card Services.
There is a host of features including flexible billing, a quality bill presentation, kitchen control, three price levels and all the security and management reports that are Uniwell's trademark.
TEC ST-60
There are two really important considerations about Open Touchscreen systems- the quality of the PC behind the screen and the software driving the system. This system is excellent on both fronts- it has top of the range specification and it is driven by market leading software- Touch Kontrol.
The ST-60 can be used with Windows 95, 98 or NT, offering great versatility in different environments. A large number of peripherals can be added to the system including receipt, kitchen and bill printers, cash drawers and many other options. It has a large(12.1") TFT screen offering better visibility from every angle, including the most unlikely! The ST-60 offers a unique free tilt angle which can be user adjusted and can be wall mounted where space is at a premium. The best feature though is that it is spill resistant- saving you valuable time and money.
